Art Project

Project Outline: For this project, you will choose an artist and a particular art piece to inspire your own piece of artwork.   You work will be an interpretation and not an exact copy of that artist's work.  The artist you choose may be a painter, sculptor, or even an architect.  

1. Choose an artist from the list at Hispanic Art Links. The list is long and there are lots of choices and you can choose another artist that is not on the list. Once you choose an artist, create an artist profile in which you describe who the artist is, where they are from, and give some brief biographical information.  

2. Find a work by the artist and write a constructive criticisim (minimum 150 words) of the artwork in which you describe the piece of art, the techniques used, the style of art, and your opinions and perceptions about the piece.  

3. Save a copy of the work of art you chose in your email account or on your flash drive along with the artist's profile and then email me a copy.  Further details will come regarding your actual artwork assignment.
