Ambassadors International Club is a student-led organization that I developed in order to provide students from diverse backgrounds with opportunities to explore together what it means to live and work in a global society.
Students meet monthly to present on various cultural topics and to discuss global events and the impact we can make as global citizens. The club also meets once a month on weekends to visit cultural venues locally and/or to participate in a variety of community service projects.
Ambassadors International facilitates a myriad of forums for cultural expression, learning, and exchange in our school. Our greatest accomplishment to date has been the creation of an annual International Week in which all cultures within our school are highlighted via a week of forums that include an International Art Show & Food Tasting Event, a Speak Your Peace Culture Forum, an International Film Festival, and an International Dress Day.
